NPWT silicone foam dressing soft adhesive wound dressing

NPWT silicone foam dressing is kind of silicone foam dressing. It's soft to skin and gentle cares your wound. Combinned with the VAC machine accelerates wound healing. Negative pressure wound therapy, also known as Vacuum-assisted Closure and a Micro Deformational Wound Therapy, has a great potential to improve acute and chronic wound management. Negative Pressure Wound Therapy is believed to promote the healing of wounds like pressure ulcers, venous ulcers and diabetes ulcers, fractures and burns.

Product function:

1. removal of exudate from the wounds to help establish fluid balance,
2. providing a moist wound environment,
3. increasing in the blood flow to the wound,
4. decreasing bacterial wound load,
5. a reduction in edema and third-space fluids, and
6. boosting the white blood cells and fibroblasts within the wound.

Intended use:

Highly Absorbent and Water Resistant: Highly absorbent PU foam absorbent layer surrounded by gentle silicone adhesive, breathable foam dressings absorb a large amount of wound exudate and lock the liquid, reduce the risk of maceration. Enhance Exudate Absorption, Reducing the frequency of dressing change.

1. Applicable to variety of acute and chronic wounds, especially highly exudating wounds;
2. Can be used in the prevention and treatment of various pressure ulcers.

Contraindications：

· Coverage should be at least 2cm beyond the edge of the wound;

· Not for use with oxidizing solutions, such as Hypochlorite solution or Hydrogen peroxide solution;

· Discontinue use if the patient is allergic to silicone.

Soft silicone dressing can be used for pediatric head, adult head, heel & elbow, sacroccygeal and shoulder blade with different shapes.
