The hydrocolloid is formed by heating and stirring sodium carboxymethyl cellulose particles (CMC), hypoallergenic medical viscose, elastomer, plasticizer, etc. Its surface is compounded with a semi-permeable polymer membrane structure. It has strong ability to absorb exudate and is a widely used material in the field of wound care.
Hydrocolloid rolls can be used to produce: hydrocolloid dressings, hydrocolloid acne patches, hydrocolloid band-aids and other self-adhesive dressings.
