Mechanism

Hydrogel Dressing is highly conformable and permeable to air and moisture vapor, which is usually indicated for dry wounds or minimum exudate wounds. It can hydrate dry wound beds and soften and loosen slough and necrotic wound tissue to promote debridement and create a moist wound healing environment. Hydrogel dressing has also been shown to promote granulation and reduce the temperature of a wound bed.

Indications

Medical Hydrogel Dressing is applicable to partial thickness burns, splitting skin donor sites wound, and epidermis defects resulted from other causes, leg venous ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers.

Contraindications

The product is not indicated to full thickness burns and individuals who are hypersensitive to the dressing.
