Silicone dressing high absorbent non border foam silicone dressing

Foam silicone dressing is an absorbent, breathable, wound dressing. It is constructed from a conformable, polyurethane foam pad, absorbent nonwoven layers, a waterproof, breathable film backing and a gentle‑to‑skin silicone adhesive wound contact layer. The waterproof film backing is moisture vapor permeable, prevents wound exudate strike‑through and acts as a barrier to outside contamination, including bacteria and viruses.

Product feature:

Foam silicone dressing is a highly absorbent self-adherent silicone foam dressing consisting of a soft silicone contact layer, a flexible polyurethane foam pad and a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film. The silicone adhesive sticks to surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, minimizing pain and the risk of damage to the wound area. Comfortable and conformable. Can be cut to fit.

Intended use:

Foam silicone dressing is designed for management of low‑ to highly‑exuding partial and full thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, arterial ulcers, skin tears, surgical wounds, superficial partial thickness burns and donor sites. The dressing is suitable for use on fragile skin and with compression therapy.

Contraindications：

· The product is not suitable for dry wound;

· Infected wound must be used under control;

· Coverage should be at least 2cm beyond the edge of the wound;

· Not for use with oxidizing solutions, such as Hypochlorite solution or Hydrogen peroxide solution;

· Discontinue use if the patient is allergic to silicone.

Soft silicone dressing can be used for pediatric head, adult head, heel & elbow, sacroccygeal and shoulder blade with different shapes.
