Silicone Foam Dressing

Silicone Foam Dressing with Border is a highly absorbent self-adherent silicone foam dressing consisting of a soft silicone contact layer, a flexible polyurethane foam pad, and a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film with a low-profile border for added adhesion and flexibility. The dressing is comfortable as well as conformable. The silicone adhesive sticks to surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, helping to minimize pain and the risk of damage to the wound area. Silicone foam dressing can form and keep a moist environment, promote wound healing, and reduce the second damage when changing the dressing.

Silicone Foam Dressings combine the superior absorption of foam and the gentle adhesion of silicone. The soft and flexible foam absorbs large amount of exudates. The silicone adhesive border provides gentle and safe fixation, allowing the dressing to be atraumatically removed when necessary. Suitable for mild to moderately exudating wounds. Each dressing is individually wrapped and sterilized by EO Gas. Latex free.

Cautions:

• Coverage should be at least 2cm beyong the edge of the wound;
• Not for use with oxidizing solutions, such as Hypochlorite solutions or Hydrogen peroxide solutions;
• Discontinue use if the patient is allergic to silicone;
• It's not suitable for dry wound;
• Infected wound must be used under countrol;
