Super-Absorbent Wound Dressing with Non-Adherent Contact Surface and Waterproof Backing is high absorbent and made to be used for a variety of heavily exudating wounds. The design of this dressing is made to rapidly absorb wound exudate to provide an environment that allows proper healing.

Exudate control is important in the management of both acute and chronic wounds. A new category of absorbent dressings that contain superabsorbent particles promises high absorbency. The aim of this multicentre, prospective, non-comparative observational study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy and absorbent capacity of a superabsorbent dressing.

Indication of superabsorbent dressing

Super Absorbent Dressing is indicated for use as a primary dressing or secondary dressing for partial-thickness or full-thickness wounds. Use where there is moderate to large amounts of drainage and extra absorbency is needed to help better manage the fluid and decrease frequency of dressing changes. Excellent dressing for use under compression for heavily draining venous leg ulcers.

Contraindication

Not intended for use on patients with a known hypersensitivity to the product itself or to its components, including the sodium polyacrylate super absorbent polymer. Not for use in tunneling wound pockets, as the dressing can expand considerably when wound exudates are absorbed. Not for use on wounds with little to no exudate, as this may cause drying out of the wound.

Available size of super absorbent wound dressing is 10*10cm, and 10*15cm. Other specifications customized need to confirm.

Meanwhile, as the non-adherent of super absorbent wound dressing isn't stick to skin, assistant medical bandage or medical tapes are needed. The related medical tapes or bandages are also provided by us. Please send inquiries to us for detials.
