Moderately to very heavily exuding wounds, acute or chronic superficial wounds, such as:

• pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous lower leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers;
• postoperative wounds healing by secondary intention;
• post-traumatic wounds;
• skin graft donor sites;
• oncological wounds;
• ulcerating tumours;
• wounds at risk of infection;
• superficial 2nd degree burns;
• and as a secondary dressing, e.g. on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.

Feature of absorbent dressing

Super Absorbent Dressing is indicated for use as a primary dressing or secondary dressing for partial-thickness or full-thickness wounds. Use where there is moderate to large amounts of drainage and extra absorbency is needed to help better manage the fluid and decrease frequency of dressing changes. Excellent dressing for use under compression for heavily draining venous leg ulcers.

Indication

Super absorbent lock-away core rapidly retains exudate away from the wound site.Low adherent and lightweight polypropylene contact layer minimises adherence to the wound site.Fluid-repellant backing prevents strike-through as well as external liquid penetration.Soft fabric design provides improved patient comfort during use and dressing changes.

For the management of moderate to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds including:

• Pressure ulcers.
• Leg and foot ulcers.

• Fungating Malignant wounds.
